The Phoenixville Track Club opened the season hosting seven teams and several unattached athletes at the Phoenixville Invitational on Sunday, April 26th. Our athletes performed very well with many top three finishes and personal best times.
Girls 5-6: Vivienne Gordon had an outstanding meet winning the 100 and 200 meters!
Girls 7-8: Rylee Mershon placed 3rd in the 100 meters. Alice Gordon placed 4th in the long jump.
Boys 9-10: Connor Gleason placed 2nd in the shot put. Sabastian Paschall was 3rd in the long jump. Lucas Klein was our highest finishing runner placing 4th in 800 meters and 5th in the 400 meters. Lucas also placed 7th in the long jump. Nolan Gail was our top placing sprinter finishing 10th out of 35 in the 100 meters.
Girls 9-10: Ivy Grant finished 2nd in the 100 and 200 meters with personal bests of 14.81 and 32.50 respectively. Ivy also placed 3rd in the long jump. Chloe Blackington placed 1st in the long jump and placed 2nd in the 800 meters (3:14.30). Kaylin Ricketts placed 3rd in the 1600 meters and 6th in the 400 meters. Molly Holderbach had a strong meet placing 4th in the 400 and 6th in the 200 and long jump. Mya Ervin finished in the top 10 in the 100 meters (7th), 200 meters (9th).
Boys 11-12: Zaiden Bryant was 2nd in the shot put (25’5). Ryan Macomber and Ethan White were our highest placing runners coming in 4th in the 800 and 1600 meters respectively. Patrick Gail was our top finishing sprinter at 6th in the 100 meters. Augustus Gilmore , Luke Campbell, and Cameron Hyatt all had multiple top 10 finishes in the 100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters respectively.
Girls 11-12: Aryn Epps placed 1st in the shot put. She also placed 6th in the 100 meters. Molly Maddox was 3rd in the 200 meters and 9th in the 100 meters. Tanya Perumal, Farah Stark, and Kennedy Watson all had top ten finishes in the 100 meters, 200, meters, 400 meters, and long jump respectively.
Boys 13-14: Connor Devivo won the shot put. Kia Allen was our highest placing runner finishing 4th in the 200 meters. Noah Thompson finished 9th in the 100 meters.
Girls 13-14: This was our strongest group led by Ellie Schaible who won the 1600 meters, 800 meters (PR of 2.49.60) , and placed 6th in the long jump. Mya Shoemaker placed 2nd in the 100 meters, 200 meters (PR of 29.68) , and long jump. Claire Kline placed 2nd in the 800 meters (PR of 2.52.70) 3rd in the 1600 meters, 5th in the long jump. Sarah Harmdierks placed 2nd in the 400 meters. Elsie Ramadan had a strong meet placing 3rd in the 800 meters and 4th in the 1600 meters.
