Dashers Meet #2

The Phoenixville Track Club participated in the Dasher’s Invitational at Lower Merion High School on Saturday morning competing with five other teams from across the area. There were many personal best times and distances and several team records set. The following athletes had top three finishes:

5-7 Girls – Vivienne Gordon won the 100 meters and 200 meters! This was the second meet this season she has won both events in her age group. .

8 and Under Boys – Logan Meck placed 2nd in the 400 meters besting his own age group record in 1:24.92.

8 and Under Girls – Rylee Merson set a new age group record in the 200 meters at 37.07 finishing 4th.

9-10 Boys – Connor Gleason placed 3rd in the 400 meters. Liam Ellsworth placed 3rd in the 800 meters.

9-10 Girls – Ivy Grant set another age group record winning the long jump at 12’50ft! This was one of our oldest standing records dating back to 2017. Ivy also won the 100 meters and placed 2nd in the 200 meters setting another age group record at 31.79. Lucy Prestia placed 2nd in the long jump. Kaylin Ricketts placed 3rd in the 1600 meters.

11-12 Boys – Zaiden Bryan placed 1st in the shot put at 30’40ft which is just over a foot shy of the age group record. Augustus Gilmore placed 2nd in the 400 meters and 3rd in the 800 meters. Cam Hyatt placed 2nd in the 800 meters. Ethan White placed 2nd in the 1600 meters.

11-12 Girls – Braelyn Jordan won the shot put at 22’0ft setting a new age group record! Aryn Epps was 2nd in the shot put. Tanya Perumal was 2nd in the 400 meters.

Boys 13-14 – Jackson Reever won the 400 meters setting a new age group record at 57.78! He also won the shot put. Lorenzo Torres-Bonilla won the 800 meters setting a new age group record at 2:22.65! Connor DeVito was 2nd in the shot put. Cavilin Kuehler was 2nd in the long jump.

Girls 13-14 – Mya Shoemaker placed 2nd in the 100 meters at 13.60 which is the second fastest female 100-meter time in team history. Mya also won the long lump besting her own team and age group record at 14’40! She also placed 2nd in the 200 meters. Sarah Harmdierks won the 400 meters at 1:06.12 setting a new age group record which was just .41 from the team record. Claire Klein placed 2nd the 800 meters. Annalise Delp placed 3rd in the 800 meters. Avery Hansen placed 3rd in both the 400 meters and long jump. Ellie Schaible placed 3rd in the 1600 meters.
